Qatar International Center for Conciliation and Arbitration(QICCA) will launch today Sunday 24 Jan the first phase of a training programme on Qualification and Preparation of Arbitrators .
The programme will be held in cooperation with GCC Arbitration Center and aims to prepare and qualify professional from Qatar and GCC on the concept and essence of arbitration, and the latest development in the arbitration field.
It will enable the participants to carry the responsibility of resolving commercial, financial and investment disputes by arbitration to ease the burden on the courts.
It includes five stages and will be conducted by a number of legal and commercial arbitrators and professionals.
The training will include academic materials and practical applications to support attendees with both theoretical and professional skills.
The first phase will include workshops on how to prepare the arbitration agreement, while the second one is expected to be launched on Feb2, entitled “Measures and Management of the Arbitration Proceeding.”
